Meet Dr. Ross Mohr

Dr. Ross Mohr attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Travis Air Force Base. After practicing dentistry for three years, Dr. Mohr decided to further his education by completing an orthodontic residency at the University of California San Francisco. He has been providing orthodontic care since 2003.

Having practiced general dentistry for three years before attending a residency in orthodontics, Dr. Mohr had the opportunity to acquire a comprehensive understanding of dentistry which is a big advantage when diagnosing and treatment planning orthodontic cases. In addition, he treats every patient as if they are his own child or family member, and creates a plan specific to each individual.

Dr. Mohr maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, New Mexico Dental Association, and the Albuquerque District Dental Society. He also attends study club meetings monthly to discuss complex treatment with local dentists. In addition to the local clubs, Dr. Mohr stays current by attending national meetings in orthodontics and dentistry each year.

Outside of work Dr. Mohr loves spending time with his two boys and wife of 20 years. He is usually traveling to a hockey tournament in the winter helping coach his boy's hockey team, while summer consists of camping, boating, and fishing. Growing up in Casper, Wyoming gave him an appreciation for the mountains which is where he feels most comfortable.
